THE KELLOGG RESEARCH LIBRARY
The 1890 House Museum Research Library is available to the public. Visitors may also explore our digital photo archive.
HOURS
Open Thursday through Saturday from 11:00am to 4:00pm, and on Sunday from 12:00pm (noon) to 4:00pm, or by appointment.
Our research library features books on Victorian daily life, art and architecture, American history, and local history. We are currently digitizing our collection of photographs, letters, diaries, and newspaper articles. These feature the Wickwire family and friends, and the beginning of the 1890 House Museum.
Support Cortland's Landmark Building
The impressive collections found throughout the 1890 House Museum offer visitors the opportunity to step back in time to 19th century Cortland. The unique history within the walls tells the stories of the Wickwire family, their servants, and the factory workers who toiled in Wickwire Wire Mills Factory.
